Biomea Fusion, Inc is seeking a Contract Manager to be part of a growing and dynamic public company.  The individual needs to be a self-starter with the ability to build a strong rapport across various functions including Research, Clinical, Drug Development, CMC, Clinical Sciences, Medical Affairs and Finance.   The position will report to the VP of Contracts within the Legal Department.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review and negotiate (with minimal supervision) a wide variety of agreements, including confidentiality agreements, consulting agreements, master services agreements, SOWs, vendor and service contracts
  • Assist with contracting responsibilities for Company’s clinical trials: review and negotiate clinical trial agreements, ICFs, site CDAs…
  • Partner with various functions within Biomea including Research, Clinical, Drug Development, CMC, Clinical Sciences, and Medical Affairs, and act as a liaison between Biomea and external contacts
  • Partner with the Finance Department to coordinate and align the contracting and procurement processes
  • Contract Administration: track and manage contracts requests and data entry on SharePoint
  • Manage administration and maintenance of electronic files
  • Provide general administrative support to the Legal Department as needed 

 

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • BA/BS in relevant field or JD
  • 5-10 years’ experience in contracts and clinical trials within biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong organizational and planning skills with a meticulous attention to details
  • Able to triage a heavy workflow, setting appropriate priorities with clients and delivering results within agreed to timelines.
  • Able to work independently while exercising initiative, flexibility and good judgment
  • Highly proficient using Microsoft Office Suites. Knowledge of MS Teams is a plus.
  • Collaborative, team-oriented mindset with strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented leader with exceptional organizational, leadership and interpersonal skills.
